Recently my wife and I decided that we needed to prepare our master bathroom as we are getting older. Last year, having had knee surgery it opened our eyes to some of the difficulties we were going to face if anything serious was to happen to either one of us in the future. So we decided to get rid of the spa tub and remodel our entire master bath and put in a walk in shower with seat and handles in case anything happened in the future.  We are very big on prepairing for the future.After contacting many different local contractors we were at our wits end, it seemed that they all wanted to build their version of what they thought was best for us, no one wanted to listen to our dream.  One afternoon on my way home from work, I saw one of my close by neighbors was getting some type of home improvement work done and there was a yard sign with KMB’s phone number, I decided to give them a call.  We were so fortunate to have gotten the designer on the phone and the first thing she said was “ TELL ME ABOUT YOUR DREAM BATHROOM.”  By the end of the conversation, we knew we found the right fit for our bath room renovation. Working with KMB, they made us feel part of the family, the head of the contractors Earl oversaw every aspect of the job and all the workers were professional and well groomed.  We found it funny that before they entered the house they always put on little slippers, we asked them why and they said they did not want any dirt from their shoes on our wooden floors. Every step from start to finish we were included in the process which made us feel very comfortable especially with people we did not know being in our home even when we were not there.  My wife and I found it fascinating that during the tearing out and all the sanding and refinishing, the contractors kept the mess to a bare minimum and always cleaned up at the end of each work day.  Our experience was so good we have recommended K M B  to our friends and they have all had that same experience. Jenny and Earl, thank you for your professionalism it is refreshing to meet folks who treat their clients like family.

John and I want you to know how pleased we are with our new bathroom! Functionally, the remodeling accomplished everything we wanted. The bathroom is now accessible by a walker and a wheelchair. Access to the shower involves only about a 4 inch step and the built-in bench makes it much easier to shower. Your suggestion of putting a light in the ceiling of the shower improves the appearance of the shower and makes it more pleasant to shower.
The workmen were careful to protect other parts of the house as they worked. They were all skilled craftsmen.The project manager stayed on top of everything and kept us fully informed about any issues or problems, which he then promptly handled. “Thanks again for a beautiful bathroom!”

I had a fireplace to tile. My tile guy just couldn’t get to it, he kept putting me off. The tile store recommended KMB to me. They came out right away to measure. We were impressed with Earl’s knowledge. He said they could get to it in a week. That night the office called to let us know they had a cancellation, did we want the work done that weekend. Of course we jumped on that. Payment was super easy, just click and pay. They used a real contract which I like. The price was comparable to other estimates received.
The crew they sent was very professional. Everyone else we spoke to said it would be a 2 day job. This crew said they would do it in 1 day. They took their time planning the layout. They took great care of my home during the work. I am so happy with the job. The tile looks perfect, which you would expect. But they also cleaned up, came on time, showed me what they were doing. I would use them again.

We are extremely pleased with our remodel. Jenny went over and above in designing the bathroom, and although we couldn’t picture the final product as she helped us to select tile, countertop, cabinets, etc., it turned out better than we could have even imagined. The lead of the crew was extremely professional and also went above and beyond, to matching the paint in the bedroom (we had a walk-in closet installed and thought we were going to have to paint the bedroom, but did not) and filling in the hardwood floor that was under the wall that was moved. All in all we couldn’t be more pleased.

We hired KMB to renovate our 120 years old bathroom.  Not only were they faced with some difficult challenges, in addition they were also working with a time constraint.  They were able to resolve all of the challenges and the project was completed on time.  At the end of the project, they sent out a professional cleaning company to clean the bathroom that they just renovated and also at the rest of the house.  We are very pleased with our bathroom.  I can’t wait to take my first bath in my brand new bathroom.

I want to share with you our appreciation for the wonderful work you did in remodeling our kitchen….not only did you stay on schedule throughout, you were able to accommodate unforeseen needs and still finish on time….the kitchen is everything we hoped for. Its both stunning and functional.
